Venetian Plaster

Venetian Plaster is the common generic term for tinted plaster. Venetian Plaster is always a mottled finish with a high polish. True Venetian Plaster is lime based. Master of Plaster produces the highest quality pre-mixed lime based plaster available. With over 2,000 mineral based tints manufactured specifically for the Master of Plaster system, Master of Plaster is also the producer of the highest quality lime based Venetian Plaster. Master of Plaster tints are manufactured by B&J colorants, of Marietta Ga. Tints are based on the Benjamin Moore color spectrum.

Master of Plaster Venetian plaster is the same basic formula as our Restoration plaster, except for the addition of color. Master of Plaster Venetian plaster can be mixed in all shades of the color spectrum. All of the standard colors and custom color mixes are formulated to exact specifications so consistency of colors is assured.

Unlike imitation Venetian Plasters you can tint Master of Plaster yourself. Tinting Master of Plaster does not effect the ease of use or working time. It requires no additional prep work, and eliminates the need to paint creating a huge savings in labor and material.

Today more than 2/3 of the material we produce is used in new construction, and more than half of that is tinted or Venetian Plaster. Most of the applications in new construction are on raw sheetrock using no bonding agents.
